It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Adoptee Photo Registry.
Like most of you, I am an adoptee still in search of other birth family members. In 1959, I found out about my
adoption and four years later I was introduced to someone I was led to believe was my 'birth mother'. The
jury is still out on that, due to events that happened many years later.
Thirty-three years later, I realized most of what I had been told about my adoption was pure fabrication.
So, in 1996, I set about to find the truth.
I believe that the photos and stories of adoptees and our birth relatives who are are searching, as
well as a chatroom forum, Adoptee Chat, will generate the
needed interest in reuniting adoptees and their family members.
There is a lot of work ahead and yes, this is just the beginning every organization has to begin somewhere and
this is the starting point of Adoptee Photo Registry.
A minimal fee of $12.95 (6 mos) or $19.95 (yr) membership fee for our services is required before posting
your photo, information and story. This may be paid using Paypal.
Searching the directory is FREE. Once payment
is made, new members will be sent guidelines on sending in their photo, information and story.
Again, I wish you a good journey ahead in the search and reunion process. I believe
